Survey conducted by INMOB found that 41 percent of today's mobile users were interested in buying the new Apple iPhone 5, which has not yet been reported.
The study of mobile advertising network showed that more than 50 percent of users said they would buy the new smartphone would it do so within six months after launch.
Inmoba said these figures would make Apple ahead of its June 2011 position on the market and increase its market share of mobile platforms by 27 percent to 31 percent in June.
The study showed that if Apple would simply announce an update of the product during the scheduled October 4th event will be less than 15 percent of consumers buy the new handset.
INMOB said consumers are more confident of improved battery life, faster processing speed, high-resolution display quality and a strong telephone service.
More than half of respondents who use a BlackBerry device, said they plan to go to the Apple iPhone 5. Twenty-seven percent of users of Android in the survey said they also decided to move to the new device.
